Upcoming Shows in September and Beyond

Well Hello there folks!

And so, after a truly mad and epic summer (47 shows at 10 festivals and various gigs in just shy of 3 months!) , we find ourselves at the back end of the festival season and rolling on into autumn. We gotta say, its been the summer of a life time, making so many new friends and watching plethora of truly excellent performances.

Massive thanks to Chai Wallahs/Diplomats of Sound, Alex Munro, Joe Driscoll and The Local Posse, The Wandering Word and everyone else we had and will continue to have a fine old time working with.
And of course, everyone who came to watch us!

LOCAL POSSE GIG – Friday 9th September – Bedroom Bar, London – 9pm – 3am

Free before 9pm, £5 after.

“If you were lucky enough to see the Local Posse in a Chai Wallah tent near you this summer, you’ll know exactly what this is about.
After smashing up the Chai Wallah stage at Green Man and Sham Bala festivals, Joe Driscoll is touring with The Local Posse – a collection of underground musical talent incorporating e…lements of hip hop, drum n’bass, classical, folk, dubstep, rock and beat box from the world no.1.
As well as individual performances, artists with hugely differing backgrounds collaborate to create new genres and improvised tracks – different every time, always banging.
This is a musical feast: a free style mash up incorporating some of the finest underground talent the world has to offer.”

The line up so far:
Joe Driscoll – beat box, loop pedals and a variety of instruments
John Fairhurst Band – blues guitar with a dance twist
More Like Trees – with Charmiane Keay & Claire Wackrow on violin
