This year has started off great! Here is to more of the Same!!!
“Amongst the huge amount of solo shows I have played this year, I have found the time to start working with two fantastically talented musicians with whom I shall be touring this November.
Nina Harries – A Royal College of Music graduate and multi-talented virtuoso on the double bass, playing electric upright in this band.
Nuno Brito – Widely recognised as a diverse and incredible drummer and percussionist. A world music specialist, capable of any and all styles.
As well as showcasing a heap of new songs which will be making their way on to an album in 2017, our live shows have become an improvised conversation – a real
meeting of musical minds. These guys are adding new flavours and challenging me at every show. Our debut gig opening the Rum Shack at Glastonbury this year was a particular highlight!
With further ado, I’m really excited to announce a string of winter dates. Expect to hear old favourites with a fresh twist as well as exciting new material. Details below – hope to see you there!
I am also very pleased to announce the re-press and re-release of ‘Saltwater’ with
a brand new cover! The actual release date will be 19th November to coincide with
the midpoint of the last UK tour of the year and our first trip to the Czech Republic
to headline the Blues Alive festival in Sumperk, which has already SOLD OUT! You
can pre-order advance copies now on my Bandcamp site here:
